This is because when you create the triangle ABD, BM and AH are both medians. This makes G the centroidAlso, since we know that AC is 36 and that the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other, AH is 18, 1/2 of 36.Lastly, since the centroid is 2/3 of the way from a vertex to the midpoint, AG must be 12.

Winter Break Geo Assignment

These represent the equations of (a,a x i) and just (a,a) and (a,-a x i) and (a,-a) In the first, there is no difference but in the second one I squared each x and y value... Witness i's mighty impact!!! (This works because the square root of -1 has no graphical value but if it is squared it becomes just -1 and throws off the point)

About Apollonian Gaskets, the fun never ends! (if you'll pardon the pun)

Thomas' Quote

"You have the power to create anything. You are only limited by yourself. This is probably how God felt on His first day. Confused, fumbling and frustrated but empowered in ways you have never felt. Create anything. This is probably how the platypus came into being."-Thomas YeeI found this quote both inspiring and hilarious.

Geogebra Test (If You Think You Can Handle It)

I designed a test for those who think that they are good at Geogebra. Its pretty self explanitory after you hit "start the test"... Get water to the bomb to defuse the bomb. Dont Cheat. I worked hard on it. It would be a shame if I went to all the trouble of designing a test on a MATH program and you ruined it by cheating. My best completion time is 11 seconds. I believe I imbedded the first text that you see slightly lower than it should be... just drag it up to where you can see it. Good Luck.
